Dear Parents/Guardians: WELCOME TO THE HELLENIC AMERICAN ACADEMY This handbook has been prepared to make the transition from home to school easier for students and their parents/guardians. Please keep it in a safe place so that you can access it as a source of useful information. The Hellenic American Academy has been entrusted to educate children from Pre-K through grade six. We take this responsibility very seriously. A successful educational experience can only be accomplished through total cooperation among the students, the home, and the school. This goal is best accomplished when the lines of communication are kept open. Everyone at the Hellenic American Academy is committed to maintaining a positive and open relationship with the parents of our students, as we strongly believe in the power of the home-school connection.
