Reminder to parents
All students have been reminded of the importance of being in the Cultural Center for morning prayers, anthems, and announcements at 7:50 am. Students who have been late more than three times are being reminded they face staying after school to make up the time. Additionally students not completing homework face assigned detention from the office. Please work with your child if either being late or missing work is happening. Thank you for your help.
School Safety
In a continuing effort to insure the safety of you and your children we are asking that you adhere to the following guidelines regarding drop-off and pick-up at the Academy:
  • Please pull up in front of the Academy as far forward as possible to move the line of cars along quickly and safely.
  • If you need to speak to school staff, another parent or walk your child/children into school, please park your car and then enter the building to avoid traffic backing up.
  • It is imperative that everyone uses the crosswalk. We will once again have a volunteer crossing guard to help you cross your children at drop-off. Please wait for direction from the crossing guard before you proceed across the street.
  • Please avoid u-turns on Broadway Street.
  • Please avoid left hand turns out of the Macheras parking lot.
Please do not park and leave your vehicle in the Fire Lane/drop off area.
