There are many exciting events, important activities this month and dates to note on the calendar. Please check the dates and events below. We look forward to your participation.

Ø On November 7, 2008 we will have a Veterans Day Program with patriotic music, readings and a salute to our veterans. All are welcome. We would like everyone seated by 9:30 am. Mayor Caulfield and the Legion Color Guard will be among our invited guests. Richard Scobie will play Amazing Grace as part of our program. Please join us. All grades will be attending.

Ø Grades for students close on Friday, November 7^th. Report cards will be issued on Friday, November 14^th for grades 1 – 6.

Ø Philopticos Craft Fair on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Cultural Center.

Ø November 12^th through November 20^th is the Book Fair. This is a great opportunity for Christmas gifts.

Ø A reminder that school will be closed on Monday, November 10^th for Professional Development Day and on Tuesday, November 11^th for the observance of Veterans Day.
